Bodhisattva in the modern Age

Lectures

Zazen is simply to sit, to find the normal condition of one's spirit, which is not narrowed by conceptions. the spirit that doesn't stagnate, above Thinking and Not-thinking. The Zen master Simone Jiko Wolf, a pupil of Taisen Deshimaru Roshi, is abbess of the Zen Temple Kôsetsu-ji, in Switzerland.

In our age most of us think egoistically without taking care of other Beings and of Our Mother Earth. A Bodhisattva in the Zen Philosophy is a Being who helps other Beings to save themselves from suffering, even if he were able to free himself.  He knows that the real freedom from suffering can take place only if it happens to all Beings on Earth.
